Golden Sands Nature Park Adventures

Golden Sands Nature Park is situated along the northern Black Sea coast in Bulgaria, just north of Varna. Spanning around 33 square kilometers, it is one of the oldest nature parks in Bulgaria, established to protect the sandy dunes and forested areas characteristic of the region. The park features a mix of dense deciduous and evergreen forests, alongside stretches of sandy beaches that provide excellent habitats for a variety of wildlife. Migratory birds, foxes, and deer are commonly spotted, reflecting the park's rich biodiversity. Historically, the park holds remnants of ancient settlements and paths used by past civilizations. Visitors can engage in activities such as hiking, bird watching, and exploring historical sites, with the added appeal of the sea offering swimming and sunbathing. Notable landmarks include the Aladzha Monastery, a medieval Orthodox cave monastery offering insights into Bulgaria's cultural past.
